We celebrate Black History Month each February to honor achievements and contributions of African Americans and to reflect on racial equity and justice. The theme for Black History Month 2021 is "The Black Family: Representation, Identity, and Diversity." Check out a book from this collection of fiction and nonfiction stories that explore the diversity of Black family life and give insight into the African American experience of growing up in America.
